December Calendar (as promised)

December Daily albums

A la Ali Edwards. (this is her 2009 album)

I know Kari did one last year - ask her if you can see it! It turned out so cute!

The idea behind the album is to take photos every day in December leading up to Christmas (and the week after if you want). To remember the traditions. To remember the memories. To have things stand out years from now.

I will be posting a calendar with daily ideas of things you can do as a family (or on your own) to create memories and photo ops. I am hoping you will use this every years....hoping your family will look forward to it every year...hoping it will become one of your traditions.

I know there is a ton of fun Christmas stuff at the store right now. Get in there, check it out and make yourself a December Daily album. Enjoy the memories!

Bright Lights Festival

Embellished is open late this Friday for the Bright Lights Festival in downtown Lethbridge. Stop by for sales, cider and more! Kari and the gang are ready to help you with Christmas shopping for you or others, making up a wish list for yourself or just to say hi :)

Whew!

I cant believe it is almost the middle of November already! This is crazy! I have been SO busy at work. I am so behind I can see my back end lol

We are off to Great Falls and Helena for the long weekend.

Do you have plans? Photo plans? There are some nice colours out there on the landscapes.

Lookie what I have here for you all!

The September kit!

I did layouts and a card with this one. I didnt want to stop working with it. I love the colours and the texture of the papers. This is one fun kit. It is addictive for ALL Layouts - not just school themes!

I tried to pull out some school photos to include in them for you to laugh at, but I didnt get time to do that part. Sorry!

Here you go! Kits should be ready at the store shortly. I know they are very limited - I believe we have 12 of them.

Sorry for some blurry parts on the pages - it is due to the buttons and 3D embellies that I used. To see them upclose and personal (but not too personal lol) head over to the store.

Kit Poll

We are planning our kits for 2011 already (can you believe that?). We want to hear from you, our customers.

1. Do you prefer the old kits (papers, embellishments, etc where the DT gave you tons of idea for them) or the new kits (one DT per month putting them together with instructions for the projects included in the kits)?

2. What do you want to see in future kits?

3. What kind of projects to you prefer in your kits - mini albums, layouts, cards, preplanned layouts or a free for all (you just get your stuff and do what you want with it)?

todays challenge:)

I know that u have all seen this LO from me before but here is your challenge.... I want you to "junk up" your layout....when i did this layout i went to my stash and picked out things that were in the colour sceme i wanted and things i havent used in a while ...no matter what i was gonnna use these things on my layout.
so decide ur colour sceme and grab at least 5 things from your stash of goodies, dont be affraid to alter some of them like i did with the domino, and the screen from Maya Road, both of them i changed by adding alchol inks .
On this LO u will find:
TH snaps
grunge board key
hemp
domino
hand stamped butterflies on transparencies
ribbon
distressing
old paper bag that had some newspaperlike adds on it.

So there ya go...lets see u junk it up!!!!

Dont forget the november fall challenge that Kari put up...get your layout to the store to be judged and will a Gift certificate for the store.
